Plymouth Norths News Show Earns Tracy Chevrolet Cadillacs Driven Students Award For April
They say good news comes in threes. For the Plymouth North News the newscast produced by Plymouth North students that news came on Friday April 7. Thats when the PNN team learned it had placed third in Fox 25s Best High School Newscast contest an accomplishment that earned them Tracy Chevrolet Cadillacs Driven Student award for the month of April.
The third piece of good news of course came with Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac treating the students to a pizza party for their accomplishment. Students recognized for their work as part of the PNN news team include: Lauren Behning Lyla Brech Ted Donnelly Caroline Garrett Laurie Graham Mary Hakkila Chris Hamilton Tabatha Jeppe TJ Lynn Janet McCarthy Michelle Morano Daniele Natola and Mitchell Nugent.
When you consider the wide range of schools from all over the Boston area taking part in the Fox 25 contest placing third is quite an achievement and well deserving of our Driven Student award said Jeff Tracy president of Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac.
The students put a lot of effort into our news broadcasts. Its timeconsuming and requires a total team effort said Shelley Jaruse PNHS journalism teacher. Were grateful not only to Fox 25 for recognizing the quality of our broadcasts but to Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac for recognizing the effort of all the students by awarding them the Driven Student award.
Tracy Chevrolet Cadillacs Driven Student program recognizes Plymouth high school students for their performance and achievements in and out of the classroom. Awarded on a monthly basis recipients are selected by faculty and advisors at the students given school.
